MSAA Summer Institute

Pirate Leaders will share ideas from the Principal's Treasure Chest that builds and supports a positive school culture. Participants will learn practical ideas they can implement right away to show appreciation to their staff, celebrate students and create a positive learning environment that has students running into school each day.  We all have ideas that we can pull out of our Treasure Chest to build and support school culture all year long. Principals will leave the session with a variety of ready to use ideas they can implement right away--including staff appreciation, positive referral and acknowledgement of students, and whole school events to develop a sense of community across all grade levels. We need schools where staff and students are banging on the doors to get IN each day, not waiting to get out. It is important for principals to develop positive relationships with both staff and students. These strategies will help a principal develop those relationships.
